“Euthanasia Coaster” is a hypothetic euthanasia machine in the form of a roller coaster, engineered to humanely – with elegance and euphoria – take the life of a human being. Riding the coaster’s track, the rider is subjected to a series of intensive motion elements that induce various unique experiences: from euphoria to thrill, and from tunnel vision to loss of consciousness, and, eventually, death. Thanks to the marriage of the advanced cross-disciplinary research in space medicine, mechanical engineering, material technologies and, of course, gravity, the fatal journey is made pleasing, elegant and meaningful. Celebrating the limits of the human body but also the liberation from the horizontal life, this ‘kinetic sculpture’ is in fact the ultimate roller coaster: John Allen, former president of the famed Philadelphia Toboggan Company, once sad that “the ultimate roller coaster is built when you send out twenty-four people and they all come back dead. This could be done, you know.”`

"A series of photographs of ghost interactions with rooms of cheap motels. Around 1998-1999 he built shelters in the chambers he stayed overnight, using only existing elements. He rearranged and recontextualized everyday objects in elaborate compositions. A door from Prague could be used as a roof for his small hut; the tacky landscape picture as a wall in Dresden; the table in Kassel could be a perfect support for the suspended bed base… After immortalizing every shelter with his camera, he slept in that newly achieved cavity, and reorganised everything back to its original position the following morning before leaving. Like in movies, hotel rooms can be used for smuggling transactions, illegitimate love affairs or radical changes of identity. No trace evidence after guests vanish. "À l’aube, nous avons chargé sur un camion plateau à l’aide d’une grue, une sculpture d’une tonne deux et cinq mètres de haut – Verre feuilleté et acier inoxydable.
Nous, précaires, du collectif Aéroporté, avons érigé aujourd’hui cette sculpture sur le socle en pierre de Charles Fourier.
Cet assemblage suit les termes du protocole d’installation d’œuvres en milieu urbain, par nous imaginé. Il permet de neutraliser le dispositif de surveillance municipal et préfectoral, de la Ville de Paris.
Boulevard de Clichy, Paris XVIIIème. Le socle était resté vide depuis l’Occupation. Les statues déboulonnées servaient alors l’effort de guerre nazi. Du bronze pour les munitions. Nous honorons une nouvelle fois le socle de Charles Fourier, 38 ans après les Situationnistes. Mais ici, point d’hommage au grand homme : le volume de verre souligne l’absence de sculpture ; un escalier invite les passants à accéder au sommet du socle et à remplir l’espace. Ainsi, l’œuvre s’inscrit-elle dans la Ville par des sollicitations de passages.
Les Embrèvements ont pour fonction de déjouer les règles d’apparition institutionnelles consacrées par les musées, galeries et autres lieux. Cette action tente de faire passer un objet hors site, au rang d’œuvre publique. Nous cultivons le paysage."

"Paddling Home is a 4 feet x 4 feet house floating on the sea. This tiny building resembles a typical residential apartment block completed with features such as bay windows, air conditioning unit, and stainless steel gate, etc Like a paddling boat, two paddling oars can be push out from the two walls allowing the house to be slowly paddle away.The concept of this project came from the extremely expansive living condition Hong Kong where the people can only afford tiny apartment flat and have to spend their lifetime repaying the mortgage. Real estate developers only follow one successful formula that is to squeeze as much money out of the land as possible, then package it with illusive commercial selling grandeur and luxury. That is why people always say we are not working for ourselves but working for the real estate developers and the bankers instead. Paddling Home is about mobility and compact living. It questions alternative way to live in the city; it is about freedom and the search for a better place."

"During my stay in New York I realized that people getting ready to get off the subway trains basically act as models at the doors. I was longing to find a way to show people in these enormous metal carriages in darkness below the city.
After months of research, I have set up a system with the inclusion of an industrial line-scan camera to be able to scan fast moving objects for photographic purposes. I returned to New York to take the images i was looking for. I couldn't help myself but to dive deep an roam the tunnels of Tokyo Metro as soon as possible."

"Stone On Stone is a stop-motion video animation that uses the architectural language of High Gothic and Modernism to invent a contradictory history of their evolvement. The theme starts and finishes with the vast and unfinished Cathedral Church of Saint John the Divine, NYC. It is contrasted with Le Corbusier’s La Tourette monastery in France, competed in 1960. The video uses this anomalous but single-minded architectural vision as the foundation for a new emergence of Gothic religious expression, resulting in a complete and unified fantasy cathedral – akin to the building that the Church of Saint John might have aspired to be."

"We made a few cuts using quarry machinery to explore its core and discovered its mass inside built with hay, now compressed by the hydrostatic pressure exerted by concrete on the flimsy vegetable structure. To empty the interior, the calf Paulina arrived, and enjoyed the 50m3 of the nicest food, from which she nourished for a year until she left her habitat, already as an adult and weighing 300 kilos. She had eaten the interior volume, and space appeared for the first time, restoring the architectural condition of the truffle after having been a shelter for the animal and the vegetable mass for a long time.

To provide the space with all the comfort and the living conditions needed in architecture, we took the “Cabanon” of Le Corbusier as motif, recreating its program and dimensions. It is the “Cabanon of Beton” the reference that makes the truffle an enjoyable living space in nature, that has inspired and subdued us. And the lesson we learn is the uncertainty that led us in the desire to build with our own hands, a piece of nature, a contemplative space, a little poem."
